What’s In A Community?
The key ingredient to a community that can make things happen is openness and diversity. Everyone has to be welcome. And everyone has to be included.
That means the door is always open, to anyone and everyone, regardless of how they look, regardless of where they're from. No stigma, and no expectations other than this shared passion for doing something good. For making things happen.
Community is something you can lean on, stand in, push forward with. It's what the small moments and the big moments are all made of.
It's a simple idea, really. But it's the kind of idea that creates real change. And real progress for everyone. Our community starts with healthy skin - and passionate people.
Salma’s Community
Salma grew up as the only Moroccan in her neighbourhood.
That could have turned her into someone who stood on the outskirts. But the community she grew up in and around made it possible for her to be unique, while belonging.
Seeing the power of community from an early age has fueled Salma’s passion for giving back to it.
So Salma Skin will always be about making a difference that does good, for the people around you. You can do serious and important work right where you are.
And when the entire community does that together, everyone is stronger for it.

Vibrant and diverse are Salma Skin cornerstones, and we’re going to keep it that way.
We're not going to be the brand that sits on their pedestal and tells people what's good, what's beautiful, and what's important. How we grow and how we develop is going to be up to our community.
